Not a whole lot has been happening on the home front lately. I'm sick & gross at the moment & had a visit with the doc today. I don't like going to the doctors. I feel as though I'm going to catch something just from stepping foot in the door, which is probably very likely. Not a fan.

Last weekend Ben & I went all DIY on everyones arses & Ben purchased this awesome display cabinet from Salvo's & we went to Bunnings & got paint & all the handy things & got new cabinet door knobs from this cool antique shop & revamped it! It looks quite incredible, although these photos do not do it justice whatsoever...

I got myself a copy of the new Kings Of Leon "Talihina Sky". Although there is pretty much next to nothing about the music in it, I enjoyed it a lot. Its only real downfall was in its bonus material, they definitely should have included all of their "Only By The Night: Home Movies" because I personally love them so much. Guess I can't have my cake & eat it too... Or can I ?

I just saw an ad on Austar for a Rolling Stones documentary called Stones In Exile AND Caleb Followill talks about them!!

Must say, that is quite a combo - Rolling Stone & King Of Leeeon.

Actually this reminds me, during cyclone Yasi my dog Hugo bit a perfect chunk out of the spine of my Exile On Main Street record. It's the perfect half moon bit mark haha

On the second day one of the trees got too heavy & collapsed, I never cleaned up the mess & eventually threw the whole thing out after a week.

My first root beer was enjoyed whilst sitting on a concrete block in the mall with Ben to my left, Callum just across & Sam nearby. There was a coffee shop at the corner, a dude who made his own guitars from cigar boxes on our left & a bakery stall in front.

It was a hot & humid day. The root beer was ice cold.

Delish.

I know I'm behind the times, but I'm HEAPS into MGMT "It's Working" only after seeing them on Later With Jools Holland. There's something about the way Andrew VanWyngarden bops to the music & the bongo player looks magnificent & has a great sweater!!

Well I got baking the other day & mixed up a total 72 baby cupcakes & they were scrumptious, if I don't say so myself...

AND today Ben & I made the yummiest, most sweetest jam I have ever tasted!! I must admit it's not a home recipe, I took it from the latest Frankie mag (that also comes with little jam jar labels) but it's super easy & looks awesome!

I guess this doesn't look too hot...

But this does!! :)

I FINALLY got my mitts on an old Polaroid!!!!

Couldn't believe it, after literally 5 years of searching Ben found it at an op-shop... We sorta both stumbled upon it then searched the shop to find each other & be all like, "Hoooooly Tittiezz I just found a Polaroid!!"... Both at the same same time.

The only downfall is that no-one here sells film for it haha

Also, I have dark hair once again. Soo many people have gotten red hair lately to the point I can longer get products to maintain it because everywhere has sold out... So back to dark with lightened ends :)

Monday night Ben & I decided we'd have a lil campfire down on the beach. We set up a tent, started the fire & began toasting marshmallows & sausages!!

While we waited for the snags to cook we drank scotch & smoked a cigar.
